The Short Course is designed to fast path you the basic information of the Journeyman Level.  You should have already studied from 'The Hive and the Honeybee' Text (pages 1-193). The Written Exam and Practical will be given Friday. 

The Journeyman Short Course offered at the Summer Meeting for persons that want to take a refresher course or want to take Beekeeping to the next level.  

If you have signed up during the registration process you do not have to register here.

1:45-2:15 PM........ Nomenclature (Richard Hanks)

2:15-2:45 PM........ Bees and Their Relatives (Staci Siler)

2:45-3:00 PM........ Break

3:00-3:30 PM........ Pesticides and Honey Bees (Donna Boozer)

3:30-4:00 PM........ Diseases & Pests (Mell Wallace)

                               (AFB and Varroa only – including treatments)

4:00-4:30 PM........ Keeping Bees Alive (Sally Adams)

4:30-4:45 PM........ Break

4:45-5:15 PM........ Q&A Panel Discussion (Mell, Sally, Donna, Richard, Henry, Staci)
